When the ruler of the third house is in the twelfth house, this means that you feel mentally confined.

The lack of mental freedom can manifest as not being able to express yourself well, not being able to understand certain topics, having difficulty in learning. It can manifest as uncertain fears always floating in the background of your mind, the fear of loneliness, or the fear of being confined.

Your mind may dwell on secrets a lot, or the activities that you do in private, which others know nothing about. You are a private and mistrustful person.

This placement can mean that your siblings and neighbors are secretive people, or that they work alone or in some more secluded institution, like a hospital, ashram, or prison. Some of them may be deceitful.

Also, some of such people may be secretly working behind your back, or they may be opposing you in some way. They may get you in trouble.

This placement can also mean that your neighborhood contains many secrets, and that illegal activities may take place there. The neighborhood may also be harder to access to the outsiders, like if it’s remote, fenced, or protected.

The ruler of the third house in the twelfth house means you need to be careful when driving, using public transport, and when taking short trips within your own country or close by. Trips and driving can lead to accidents, imprisonment, and other problems, if you are not careful.

For example, you are more likely to be caught by the police for speeding than most other people. You must especially be careful when traveling or driving for any illegal matter, as you are likely to be caught.

The same applies to sending parcels with not-allowed contents, writing messages that would put you in danger, and even communicating such matters or secrets to others – no matter how close to you they are.

You may travel or drive for the reasons only known to yourself. This placement also shows that you may be involved in some secretive or illegal activity that involves traveling, driving, sending messages or parcels, communicating secret information, and similar activities.

Changes in your life often bring difficulties, such as losses, illnesses, and other misfortunes. If some people cause you problems, it could be very difficult to forget, and you may often dwell on the unfairness done to you, or think of the people who caused you wrong.

Your mind may dwell on ways to accomplish things that are not legal. Your mind also may dwell on secret plans, the occult, secret societies and similar groups and institutions not open to the majority.

Your mind, if not trained, may also be in the habit of thinking of the worst scenarios. For example, you may worry that when you try out something new, something bad will happen. So the mind may naturally focus on misfortunes and problems.

You have a mind that is private – you are not likely to freely share its contents with others. There could be a habit of creating imaginary scenarios in your mind, and also there could be the tendency to be untruthful.

However, when the native spiritually advances, the mind stops dwelling on secretive or illegal activities, sheds all deceitfulness and secretiveness, and focuses entirely on divine topics.

Then, there could be a calling to teach others how to meditate.

Also, you may have a natural talent to write, and writing all by yourself may fill you with inspiration and may renew you.
