As my meditation deepens, I sometimes feel as though the entire Universe is sending me messages of love. Because of this, I became interested in hearing from people who can communicate with animals, plants, and even inanimate objects.

That’s how I came across Laila. The first video I watched of her was this one:

It was profound. I knew she was the real deal. What truly caught my interest was that she didn’t just communicate what animals were experiencing regarding their health or their owners; she was able to see much deeper – into the spiritual matters concerning both the animal and the human. The video above perfectly illustrates this.

So, I had to read her book – the only one she has released in English, as far as I know. All of her other books are in French, though she has also had them translated into Italian and Spanish.

I received a draft of the book directly from the publisher upon request for review purposes, prior to its final editing. In a way, this was even better; the unpolished version gave me a raw glimpse into her mind.

Laila has been able to speak to animals since she was a child. She grew up very poor on the island of Formentera.

Because she spent so much time outdoors, she was constantly surrounded by living nature.

She was extremely sensitive and psychic. However, due to her education and a demanding career as a Flamenco dancer, she eventually stopped paying attention to these telepathic messages.

It was only later in life that she decided to revive this ability, once she resolved the karmic burden of her dancing career. In one of her interviews, she mentioned it was unfinished business from a past life.

The book has numerous fascinating stories about what animals communicated to her. But the story that left the greatest impression on me was how she, along with three other people, healed a horse’s crushed lower jaw.

Though they were far from any veterinary facility, through prayer and a pure, loving intention to heal, they were able to reset the horse’s jaw and stop the bleeding. They didn’t entirely know what they were doing; they simply trusted that the Creator would guide them. And it worked.

After a day, the animal started feeling better, and the healing was complete. That is truly incredible, and it aligns perfectly with the teachings of A Course in Miracles (which she also quotes in the book) – that if you have no selfish intent, and your motivation is purely love, healing must take place, unless the individual (or, in this case, the animal) chooses not to receive it.

This book has inspired many people to view their pets in a completely different light. They are not here for our pleasure or control; they are individual, free spirits. We can temporarily look after them and provide for them, but they are independent of us, and we are not superior to them.

The unfortunate influence of institutionalized Christianity and similar religions has caused people to look down on animals and other living beings, viewing themselves as superior and in charge of everything. This has closed their eyes to the fact that we are all equal – brothers and sisters in Spirit, bound by love.

Ultimately, this book can awaken your heart to the beautiful understanding that everything in the Universe is conscious, and we are all on the same level.

In fact, animals are often much more aware and loving than many humans. Just because they can’t build a car or use specific tools doesn’t make them inferior. After all, we cannot fly, nor can we breathe underwater like some animals do. Does that make us inferior?

If we can put away these superiority complexes and judgments regarding animals and nature, we, too, can start receiving telepathic messages from them. Laila notes that it is vital to totally empty the mind and simply listen. She also communicates with them through the Creator, probably so there is no interference from her own imagination.

The book is not only about her telepathic communication with animals, but also about her spiritual development.

She writes about a day during meditation when she received an immense energy of love, which motivated her to start meditating daily.

But because she was looking for results, her meditations became fruitless, and she stopped practicing for two years.

Her spiritual development resumed when she met her spirit animal. After that, her meditations became full of wonder.

She aims to embody total love—an aim we should all share. She had clearly achieved a very high stage of awakening even before this lifetime, given her ability to communicate with animals from such a young age.

Her attunement to all living beings allows her to receive their messages even when the owner hasn’t made a specific request. For example, while flying to Paris (if I remember correctly), she was sitting next to a woman and kept receiving messages from a dog.

She felt compelled to pass the message along, and it turned out to be the woman’s puppy, who was worried she wouldn’t return. Laila sent a message back to the puppy telling it not to worry, and that its owner would be back soon.

Sometimes, even when she wants to relax – like taking a bath – an animal will continuously send her images to get her attention, hoping she will pass a message to their human guardians. It is very similar to how psychics communicate with the deceased.

Reading Psychic Communication with Animals for Health and Healing can open your heart and mind to the possibility that the entire Universe is in constant communication with you. But are you quiet enough to hear the living beings of our Earth? Are you judgment-free enough?

This book will help you drop the illusions of human superiority so that you can enter into loving communication with the other beings sharing this planet.
