At this time let’s leave out the controversy whether Satan and Lucifer are separate characters or the time being, as it needs a dedicated study. In this article I assumed they are one and the same, but, again, it needs more research to really assert such a thing.

Both Jesus and Lucifer are sons of God. Both of them are called stars, and both of them are associated with brightness: “the light dawned on those who sat in darkness” is told about Jesus, yet dawn is the sign of rising Lucifer.

Satan and Jesus as light bearers/dawn/stars

Jesus is portrayed as a light bearer and is associated with the dawn and the morning star:

And was [Jesus] transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

— Matthew 17:2

Satan is also associated with light and brightness, as Jesus himself said:

I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

— Luke 10:18

Satan and Jesus as magicians/performers of miracles

The serpent in the garden of eden in hebrew is nachash.  The noun נחש (nachash) means : magic, divination or enchantment, which is translated as a “snake” in the Bible. More correctly it would be to say “the hissing one”, “the enchanter” or “the magician”.

Jesus, too, was a magician, which is obvious from many magic feats that he did which need not be mentioned here.

Image from Abarim Publications:

Biblical study sites do not mention that the word nachash can also mean something to do with bronze or copper. This connects the Genesis snake with the brasen serpent on a pole that healed the Hebrew people. Jesus also said that when he’s lifted up as a serpent of Moses, he would heal people:

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

— John 3:14-15

Here Jesus compares himself with the brasen serpent of Moses, from Numbers 21:9:

And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

The “fiery” or “brasen” serpent can also be translater as a “dragon”:

Which also connects Jesus/Lucifer with the ancient worship of dragons in many countries.

Chinese New Year dragon

Both Jesus and the serpent of Genesis made similar promises. The serpent assured that if Adam and Eve would eat of the tree of the knoweldge of good and evil, they will not surely die. (Genesis 3:3). Jesus, too, said that whosoever follows him, would never die: (John 11:26).

Yahweh said that if the first couple would eat of the forbidden tree, they would surely die (Gen 2:17) and he also said that if the Hebrew people forget YHWH and follow other gods, they would surely die (Deuteronomy 8:19).

So Jesus tells people to follow him and promises that if they do, they will never die; but YHWH says if people follow any other gods than him, they would surely die! Someone must be lying here, and we know that YHWH’s claim of the first couple dying the same day of eating of the forbidden fruit did not come true!

Jesus and Satan as the first creation of YHWH

The first thing that YHWH is told to have created was light (which is Lucifer):

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

— Genesis 1:3

That Light wasn’t the sun, because the sun was only created later, as it’s told in Genesis 1:16. So there was another source of Light, Lucifer, created first.

The light is the planet Venus – we see it arising first, and only after that we see the sunrise.

Compare that with Jesus being the only source of light in New Jerusalem:

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

— Revelation 21:23

Also, it might be the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter that the wise men saw in the sky and identified this seemingly single huge star as a “star of the East”. You can read more about this theory here.

Jesus and Satan as rulers of the Golden City

There’s even more to this. The city of New Jerusalem is called the “Golden City”:

And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

— Revelation 21:18

Yet there’s another Golden City in the Bible:

How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

— Isaiah 14:4

This is the Isaiah chapter which tells of YHWH’s threats to Lucifer and the prediction that his City of Gold, Babylon, will fall.

So here we find Satan being told to be the ruler of the Golden City, whilst Jesus is also told to be the ruler of the Golden City!

The Golden City is another name for Babylon. YHWH divorced the Hebrews and expelled them to this very city. Wouldn’t it be too incredible to believe that since Christians worship another god (Jesus rather than YWHW), they would indeed after death be captured in the place which Yahovah expelled the disobedient Jews to?

And there’s more to this! One of the goddesses of the Babylon city was Ishtar. Ishtar, a Queen of Heaven, is the planet Venus, and Jesus, as it’s proven here already, is identified with the planet Venus, which is the same planet as that of Lucifer!

Jesus and Satan as deceivers and lions

The word nachash can also mean “deceiver” or “diviner”, and these both names were applied to Jesus in Talmud (I haven’t read Talmud but some sources claim that he is called this way), plus the original followers of John the Baptist, the Mandeans, called Jesus a deceiver as well.

No need to mention here, Satan is called a deceiver in the Bible.

What’s more, the word nachash in Akkadian means “lion”:

Nachash in Akkadian

And Satan in the Bible is called a lion too, who “as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Jesus is called “a lion of the tribe of Juda” in Revelation 5:5.

Jesus and Satan are sons of God and descend to hell

We know that both Jesus and Satan are identified as sons of God. Satan is told to be the sun of God in the book of Job, where “the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them” (Job 1:6). Jesus is called the son of God many times, so it’s unnecessary to mention those verses here as they are too well-known already.

Satan was prophesied to descend to hell as it’s told in the threats to the king of Tyre in whom Satan was addressed:

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

— Ezekiel 28:8

The word “pit” is translated selectively by English translators; sometimes it’s translated as “hell”, and sometimes as “grave”, whatever suits them.

Then Lucifer is addressed in the King of Babylon with these words:

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

— Isaiah 14:15

So in these verses Lucifer is prophesied to be sent to hell. Jesus was there too, before his resurrection, as these verses seem to suggest:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

— 1 Peter 3:18-20

Satan and Jesus as morning stars

Jesus reveals his identity in the book of Revelation, and says that he’s the morning star:

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

— Revelation 22:16

Lucifer is also associated with the star, and the morning:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

— Isaiah 14:12

Lucifer name meaning

Jesus and Satan fell from heaven

We know that Lucifer fell from heaven:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!

Isaiah 14:12

Jesus has also come to the earth from heaven!

Lucifer wanted to usurp YHWH’s government and rule all nations. Jesus, in the Book of Revelation, is predicted to be ruling all nations! YHWH says that he doesn’t share his glory with anyone, yet Jesus claims he’s seated at the right hand of the Father, and that his Father gave to Jesus the authority to rule!

So either YHWH is not the Father of Jesus, or Jesus is the Deceiver himself!

Lucifer said that he would return to heaven again to be like the Most High:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

— Isaiah 14:14

Jesus promised the same thing:

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

— John 6:61-62

Both were in heaven before, both ended up on earth, both went to hell; both wanted to ascend back; both claimed to be powerful once back up there:

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

— Mark 14:62

(That did not come true, however, because those people died and did not see him ascending.)

Jesus also said that he would be as powerful as the Most High, though, as I told, YHWH never shares his glory with anyone (Isaiah 42:8):

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

— Matthew 28:18

Lucifer fell from heaven because he wanted to usurp YHWH’s authority. Was Jesus expelled from heaven and ended up on earth because he was that very same Lucifer? Jesus, in the book of revelation, is predicted to finally have that authority which YHWH doesn’t share with anyone.

 Jesus and Satan weaken nations

Isaiah on Lucifer:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

— Isaiah 14:12

On the coming rule of Jesus:

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

— Revelation 2:27

Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division (…).

— Luke 12:51

Revelation 19:13:

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

“Dipped in blood” is a misleading translation to soften the image of the second coming of Jesus. It’s not “dipped”, but “soaked”, “baptized” in blood.

Jesus will come with a blood-soaked robe to rule nations with a rod of iron, and will kill all who don’t believe in him. Does that sound like someone who taught to love their neighbors and to turn the other cheek?

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

— Revelation 12:9

Lucifer indeed has deceived the whole world. Everyone worships him, both Christians, masons, pagans… also those who worship wealth and other material goods bow down to the same deity as Satan is the king of this world. All the religious people wait for the same messiah!

I could go on, but I hope I have given sufficient evidence for you to consider what’s written here, and then do your own research! Remember, the Bible itself says to study diligently, and that it is the truth, and not blind faith or our convictions, that make us free!

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

— 2 Timothy 2:15

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

— John 8:32

If you want to give your heart and soul to Jesus, firstly research who this character is. Don’t delay this – giving your soul to someone shouldn’t be taken lightly!
